Jason Freskos Discusses What Makes Stinson Beach Such A Great Place To Live

It’s important to love the place you call home. However, different people have very different preferences on what makes a town or city special. Stinson Beach resident Jason Freskos recently discussed what sets this coastal town apart and why it’s such a great place to call home.

“Yes, Stinson Beach is on the coast, but the white sand isn’t all that attracts people to move here,” Jason Freskos said. “Stinson is one of California’s best-kept ocean side secrets, and it’s near some of the best attractions in the country.”

Jason Freskos explained that Stinson Beach is located in Marin County, only 20 miles from the excitement of San Francisco. However, despite its location near the city center, Stinson Beach offers a small-town feel that seems much farther from the hustle and bustle. In fact, Jason Freskos stated that the population of Stinson Beach is just 556.

“Living in Stinson Beach is truly a one-of-a-kind experience,” Jason Freskos said. “It’s like living in a rural setting just minutes from one of the top cities in the world.”

Jason Freskos explained that the parks and natural beauty surrounding Stinson are some of its best assets. The white sand beach is flat and expansive, making it an ideal destination for tranquil swims or beach walks. The gorgeous woods and rock formations in the background truly make it picturesque.

However, in addition to the beach, Jason Freskos explained that Audubon Canyon Ranch, Martin Griffin Preserve, the Point Reyes Lighthouse, Marin Headlands, and the Bolinas Lagoon Preserve are all nearby. Each of these Marin County parks offers incredible hiking, biking, wildlife watching, and more.

“You may know Stinson Beach for its white sand and surrounding natural beauty,” Jason Freskos said. “But we’re also fortunate to have a small-town atmosphere with charming shops and outstanding restaurants. It’s hard for visitors to believe we’re so close to San Francisco.”

Jason Freskos explained that Stinson Beach is known for its free-spirited feel. The small downtown area offers a laid-back feel with quaint boutiques, delicious restaurants, wellness centers, and art galleries. It’s an excellent place to shop, relax at a spa, or spend a day sampling local eats and drinks. The town is quiet and most shops close by 5 p.m.

“A laid-back small town located steps from the Pacific Ocean and just minutes from San Francisco. To me, Stinson Beach is the ultimate place in the United States to call home,” Jason Freskos said. “I suggest anyone interested in moving here comes for a visit and sees just how happy and appreciative the town’s residents are.”
